Event Guide - Kids Entertainment
The Colorado Artfest at Castle Rock believes in the nurturing of budding artists and offers the Imagination Zone to stimulate children’s’ imaginations and explore their artistic abilities. Each year a mural is designed for children to add their creative touch. Paints and other art supplies are provided to create take-away art pieces. For the safety of our children, art activities are supervised by an Arfest volunteer and children must also be accompanied by a family member.
The Imagination Zone is located at the north end of the venue and is frequently visited by the strolling entertainers, such as Bruiser the blue dog and Wild Bill Patterson. Other family entertainment throughout the Artfest venue, include Hawk Quest, a nonprofit group that exhibits live hawks and explains their habits (in front of the library); the Aztec dance group, Manitou Art Theater and Tina Gugeler Hammer Dulcimer, strolling performers. Co West sponsoring face painting!!! In addition to more than 178 art exhibits by juried artists, your family will enjoy a weekend full of art and cultural experiences.
